China Plans to Duplicate Boracay Island In Spratly

China is planning  to build a man-made like beach resort in the contested Spratly Island within the Philippines maritime zone. The island is similar to or a copy paste of  the Boracay Islands beach in the Philippines.

A private MalacaƱang report detailed the land repossession activities of China in five areas, namely Johnson South (Mabini) Reef, Cuarteron (Calderon) Reef, Hughes (Kennan) Reef, Gaven (Burgos) Reef and Eldad (Malvar) Reef but seemingly, China was busy on its reclamation work in the four areas excluding Johnson South (Mabini) Reef.

China has built a tough garrison at Fiery Cross Reef, and assigned 200 troops whom they provided with surface search radars as well as satellite data transmission facilities. The Fiery Cross garrison also has helicopter landing pads and a wharf. The garrison is considered as China’s main headquarters within the Philippines’ Kalayaan Island Group. The Chinese garrison in Subi Reef also has around 200 troops positioned as well as helicopter landing pads.

China was labeled as the duplicator of every branded products worldwide and well known producer of  fake products out of the original one. So it is not a surprise if they want to duplicate or make many Boracay beaches as many as they can on every area of the Spratly Island.

Chinese military official revealed that they are doing this to ease overcrowding of their local beaches. He said,  that since South China sea is their territory, it is their option to turn it into a tropical beach paradise and a great diving destination. They believe their beach would be much cheaper compared to Boracay in the Philippines that is more expensive. The beach will also serve a shield on any attack that will cause by some  Asean countries who wishes to grab and make decisive moves on their territory.

Meanwhile the Philippine government is continuously monitoring the situation on Kalayaan island or Spratly.
