Filipino Nurse Was Kidnapped and Raped By Young Libyans

MANILA, Philippines —  Despite the ongoing civil war that is presently happening in Libya, a Filipino nurse was kidnapped and raped by the Libyan teens. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed  the report on Thursday.
The unidentified Filipina was grabbed forcefully in front of her residence by four armed Libyan youth on Wednesday and was released after she a few hours later after being mistreated. The  DFA spokesman Charles Jose said the Filipino nurse was brought the Philippine embassy and underwent a medical check-up.
Speaking to one of a Philippine News Channel on Wednesday, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario repeated the government's call to Filipinos in Libya to immediately seek deportation as the Philippine agency will send a ship to evacuate 1,000 Filipinos from Libya.

The Tunisian foreign minister said that thee are about 6,000 people a day have escaped Libya into Tunisia this week. So far this is  the biggest influx since Libya's 2011 civil war and this record shows the increase turmoil as the rival militias clash over control of the airport in the capital Tripoli. Tunisia is the neighbor of Libya and the closest country that the victims could enter.
The weeks-long fighting is the worst violence seen in the Libyan capital since the war. Approximately 100 people have been killed while there are 400 others wounded. Most part of the airport has already been destroyed because of the war.  A gunfire hit  the airport oil depots that cause a giant fire ranging for the past three days. Residents are forced  to evacuate while firefighters largely unable to cool it  down because of clashes.
