MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino said yesterday,
August 28, that he will visit five countries, four European countries and the
United States in September to impart the country for diplomatic ties, and
magnetize investments.
Aquino said in interview on a radio program, that he is
tentatively scheduled to visit Spain, France, Germany and Belgium before
heading to the United States from September 13 to 24.
Aquino explained that his trip’s purpose is to express
his gratitude to the European Union for elating margins on Philippine carriers
and for their voluntarily helping the victims of typhoon Yolanda, with
international name Haiyan.
Aside from building bilateral relationships with the
Belgian and Germany, he will discuss the welfare of Filipino seafarers as his
second resort with the European Maritime Safety Agency.
Aquino also said that he will attend the UN Climate
Summit in New York where the Philippines has been invited. The Summit seeks to establish world support that tends to
discuss the health consequences that might draw after a calamity.

share the country’s experiences during the surge of typhoon.
