MANILA, Philippines —US Department of Defense weather bureau warns Philippines that a new tropical storm may hit the country next week. This tropical storm possibly may develop into a super typhoon.
A tracking map released by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) presented that the tropical storm currently over the Pacific is approaching the Philippines at about 414 kilometers east southeast of the Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. Based on the data issued by the (JTWC) the tropical storm will be near Luzon next week, bringing winds of 203 kph and gusts of 250 kph, entitles for the "typhoon".
The expected tropical storm is presently packed with winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) and breezes of up to 83 kph. It may pass over Guam on Friday and will be stronger as it makes its entrance to the Philippines territory on July 16.
Meanwhile, the latest weather forecast from the website of the (PAGASA Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration still not issued any records on on the said cyclone and has not yet confirmed it.
According to the list of PAGASA, once the tropical storm enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the newest cyclone will be named "Glenda". The latest weather outlook bulletin of the agency said that the whole country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms until July 14.
