Los Angeles (AFP) - Oscar-winning
actor and comedian Robin Williams was found dead at his home in California
on Monday, police reported. Authorities have said that the apparent cause
of actor’s death was a suicide, but the investigation on his cause of death is
still ongoing. Police found the actor lifeless shortly before midday in his home in
Tiburon, California, near San Francisco. He was 63.

William’s wife
Susan Schneider said in her statement "This morning, I lost my husband and
my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and
beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken."
The actor’s publicist Mara Buxbaum
said to the U.S. media that William has been struggling from severe depressions
lately.
William is one of the most beloved American
entertainers of his generation where he rose to recognition and fame in the
iconic US television sitcom "Mork & Mindy". He won an Academy award for his role as a fatherly therapist in 1997's
"Good Will Hunting".
