The Philippines’ Exquisite Homegrown Supercar

Who would ever think that one of the winning cars participated in the supercardom is made by Filipinos? The Aurelio, a glossy, beautiful, eye catching supercar, just won the World Cup contest in supercardom was built by a four-man Philippine crew called Factor Aurelio Automobile.
Aurelio’s striking body
composition is made of of fiberglass-reinforced-plastic with what looks like a few carbon fiber bits and bobs distributed throughout inside. In its lower body parts,  lies a shiny tubular space frame chassis attached with a turbo charged Mitsubishi 4G63 four-cylinder that apparently brags 457hp per ton, capable of shooting the Aurelio up to a top speed of 186mph.

Most of its parts or about 80 percent of the car’s components are sourced from within the Philippines except the brakes, engine, transmission, wheels and few other suspensions gears according to The Manila Times.
Due to lack of financial capacity, the four guys who built this beautiful car had to borrow money from their relatives and even pawn off some of their possessions just to fund their project and complete their first supercar models.
With their current manpower, the company can be able to produce  not more than 10 units each year secured to go for about 1.6 million Philippine pesos or the equivalent of $37,000.
