China Builds concrete barriers on Mabini Reef

Chinese Gov't design proposal for military base to be built in Mabini Reef
China is now constructing a solid sea barriers in a reclaimed area of  Mabini (Johnson South) Reef in the disputed Spratly Island  despite  the Philippines’ protest and its appeal to freeze any offensive activities.
The Philippines earlier  is objecting China’s reclamation projects in the region, but this protest was rejected  by Beijing saying that  it was a baseless campaign. The China

claims 90 percent of the West Philippines Sea .
Palawan-based fishing operator Haji Pasi Abdulpatah whose group has been fishing in the West Philippines Sea in regular basis said that the ongoing reclamation of the giant  such as the concrete sea barrier is already in the disputed area. He also confirmed that the giant country has another current reclamation development in their three occupied reefs apart from Mabini Reef.

China, at this time occupied eight reefs in the disputed territories, including the  – Panganiban (Mischief) and Subic – which both have been developed into a naval facility.
Beijing is also trying to remove Filipino troops guarding a water domain at Ayungin Shoal on board a stranded Philippine Navy ship, BRP Sierra Madre. Chinese coast guard vessels are securing the shoal. In a separate report, Chese coast guard vessel have tried to block the Filipino local officials from visiting the shoal.
Recto Bank, situated within the country’s 200-nautical mile exclusive economic zone (EEZ). It said that it contains huge oil and mineral deposits.
