Filipino-Chinese businessman donates two Utility boats to the Philippine Navy

In ABS-CBN exclusive news report, a Filipino-Chinese businessman named Edmond Borja donated two brand new 5-utility boats to the Philippine Navy to help the troops defending the Philippine sea territory.

Borja owns a boat making company and he donated two new utility boats which were designed to transport equipment, people and supplies to help navy troops in monitoring the West Philippine Sea.

The boats were actually not warship for any measure, but Philippine Navy chief Vice Admiral Jesus C. Millan said that boats will be useful to support to the Phililippine navy and they are very happy to receive them especially that the boats came from the a civilian.



Meanwhile, Naval Forces West chief Commodore Manuel Natalio A. Abinuman expressed his appreciation for  the donation. The two boats will be positioned to the Naval Forces West in Palawan.

 “We in the Naval Forces West are very grateful and happy for this donation as these are another addition to our inventory of vessels which will be utilized to support ship-to-shore and shore-to-ship operations,” Abinuman said.


Borja, the donor of the boats Urges the Filipinos to help each other even in the most little way. He said that if we will not help each other,  China might have thought that Philippines is no longer  interested with Spratly area.
